some photos . . .

I enjoy talking photos as well as sharing them with friends and family, or in my presentations. I've been experimenting with different places to store my travel photos online. Here are some of the places I've tried. There is duplication of photos among these sites. While each has some interesting features, I am not sure I'm ready to choose one of these - if you have some suggestions, I'd be interested in hearing about them!

My photos on Flickr (flickr.com)
(On Flickr, I identify myself as 'hortulus')
Marseille Aix en Provence Aix en Provence View into Spain

My photos on 43 Places (43places.com)
(43 Places allows you to store your travel photos online and index them under their location. Your photos will be available to others searching for that location. There is also functionality for people to ask travel questions of those who have visited a specific location. Unfortunately, 43 Places does not easily allow for direct linking to a specific photo.)
L'Isle sur La Sorgue Aix en Provence Pont du Gard Nimes Les Baux

My photos on Panoramio (panoramio.com)
(Panoramio allows you to store your travel photos online and link them to their actual physical location on a map. You and others can view images from aspecific using the Panoramio world map, or, Google, who recently bought Panoramio, may chose to add them to their Google Earth interface as well.)
